Join us for a fun-filled afternoon featuring: Victorian Phrenologist (Professor Phineas Fairhead,) a picnic, historical crafts, petting zoo, Civil War magician, historical reenactments, and Abraham Lincoln!  Visitors can also stuff a scarecrow (for a small fee,) pan for gold, tour the Farmhouse, and view work by local artists in the barn.  This is a free event held on the Museum grounds at 399 Biesterfield Road.  Thank you to our sponsors Harris Bank and the Rotary Club of Elk Grove Village for making this event possible.  Please call (847) 690-1440 for more information.

Children ages 4 years and older are invited to this fun, free event!  You will have the opportunity to touch, feel, climb through, into and out of each and every type of vehicle available.  You will find fire trucks, dump trucks, police trucks, and other interesting vehicles.  Don't forget to bring your camera! 

After exploring all the trucks, don't forget to stop by Pirates' Cove for our last day of the season.  Pirates' Cove will be open 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.  Daily admission fees apply.

The market is open every Wednesday from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. from June 4th through September 24th.  Farm goods are harvested locally and brought right into town giving you an opportunity to meet with the growers. We also feature vendors with other homemade items such as salsas, jewelry, flowers, and dog treats. Different fruits and vegetables will be available as the season changes. New vendors with special or seasonal items may attend as the market progresses.  Check the vendor list for more info. Visit every Wednesday to see what's new.  The market is located in the Pavilion parking lot on the southwest corner of Biesterfield and Wellington just across from the Village Clock Tower.

If you like "Dancing with the Stars," you'll love "Dancing with the Band."  Join us the first Thursday of each month at the Al Hattendorf Center, 225 E. Elk Grove Blvd., to dance to the big band tunes of the Switch Time Jazz group.  This program is very popular for not only adults who love ballroom dance, but also those who just like to sit and listen to the music of this talented band.  Admission is $3 for Adult Center members and $5 for nonmembers.  Call (847) 364-7224 for more informaiton.
